It began, as fairy tales often do, with a princess. Perhaps she was pretty, perhaps she was ugly, that is not the point.
The point is that this isn’t a fairy tale.
The princess was a spoiled individual, given anything she wanted by her father no matter the price.
One day, she decided that she wanted a fox’s pelt. In her time, foxes were almost extinct, but that didn’t matter to her or her father.
So off the king went and he found a fox.
The thing about foxes is that they have developed a way to hide. By shedding their pelt and becoming human.
Anyway, the king killed the fox disguised as a human and took her pelt.
But he wasn’t to know that she had a daughter.
A daughter who wanted revenge.
