You know how fantasy stories sometimes have a prophesised saviour and it’s treated as a rare thing? Well, it’s like that but the saviour is prophesised once in a generation! Sometimes they aren’t but most of the time they are!
The WIP focuses on an ex-saviour and life after they’ve done their thing whilst a new saviour looks for them because the evil they have to defeat is the one the ex-saviour stopped before them!
It’s got witches, wizards, eldritch horrors and all manner of fun stuff!
Also the main character likes to use archaic words

That sounds really cool! I love inversions of tropes so much and that was one I’d never even considered. Plus, magic! Count me in!

Thank you! Tbh, the whole idea of subverting the whole “saviour” trope was slightly inspired by a friend’s WIP. They aren’t on Tumblr but it was basically, have the “chosen one” be the villain and not the main character.
