It was only after about an hour sat in silence with the god beside her as they both quietly drunk their way through several drinks that she decided to turn around and face him.
“So, it’s been a while,” she began, leaning on the back of her hand.
It took him a bit to respond but he got there eventually. “You could say that. We last met in…Athens?”
“Sparta,” she corrected him, snorting slightly when he only rolled his eyes.
She was pretty sure Apollo was drunk and had to wonder why he was still being served after how long he must have been there.
“Whatever,” he groaned and buried his face into the crook of his arm.
“What’s up with you?”
“Kids.”
“Ah,” she paused and blinked before continuing, “that’s what you get for sleeping around without taking precautions.”
