- Veganon has a type of wheat which comes in every colour under the sun. It isn’t fully understood why but most people think it’s because the rainbow spirit, Irides, and the harvest spirit, Messis, got married there, at least according to legend. The wheat is seen as a symbol of wealth to those outside of Veganon and a symbol of family to those who live in Veganon.
- In the city of Rosa, also known as the city of lovers, there’s a small festival with a focus on a particular cake. The ingredients include pink flour and crystallised rose petals. Supposedly, if a couple bite into a piece at the exact same time, their relationship will be a happy and prosperous one.
- The demonym for people from Veganon is Veganoan. (I didn’t actually know that was what the thing was called but there ya go)
- The spirits most worshipped on Veganon, alongside Darkness and Light, are Irides and Messis. Irides is female and often depicted in a white dress that seems to contain every colour in the rainbow. Messis is male and often depicted as more monstrous than you would expect a harvest god to be.
- It is tradition that, at least for their first married dance, a newly wed couple will dance barefoot. It’s supposed to bless their new united life together.
