Okay so this is my newest WiP and I decided to explain 😀 (5 days after I said I’ll explain but hey, it’s something!)

Inspiration:
Nothing really, but I was watching Sleeping Beauty and went, ‘Hey, why not turn this into a WiP?’
OCs:
1. Princess Aurora or later known as Briar Rose
(ugh this picture is in horrible quality, I’m sorry)
Description:
The only description of her was that she was ‘strong but held a feminine look’ so it doesn’t matter that she’s dark skinned. Curly, short hair, brown in color, beautiful violet eyes, dark skin, somewhat bushy eyebrows, freckles, plump rosy lips, soft features, small, but strongly built and still feminine.
About her:
– Leader of a rebellion
-Daughter of the old, brave king
-Cursed by Maleficent as a baby
-Taken in by the fairies after her father’s death
-Can definitely kill a man in three seconds
What she’s like:
-Courageous and selfless
-Kind hearted but has a tough shell
-Strong
-Sarcastic
-Won’t take anyone’s bullshit™
-Oblivious most of the time
-Witty
2. Prince Phillip
Description:
Pale, brown haired, grey eyes, high cheekbones, muscular, tall, makes someone want to punch him in the face.
About him:
-Son of King Hubert
-Killed Aurora’s father in order to take the throne
-Lives off of the kingdom’s riches
-”Killed his own father”
-Has a wife
What he’s like:
-Cunning
-Tyrannical
-Abusive
-Quite brilliant
-Power-hungry
3. Maleficent
Description:
Black haired, striking blue eyes, sharp features, high-arched eyebrows, beautiful, small frame.
About her:
-Prince Phillip’s sorceress
-Very powerful magic
-Queen Hestia is her daughter
-Immortal (unless killed)
-Cursed Aurora
What she’s like:
-Chaotic Neutral
-Kind
-Sophisticated
-Strong
-Overall amazing
4. PrincessHestia
Description:
Sharp features but they hold kindness, long nose, hazel eyes, dark brown hair, average height.
About her:
-Prince Phillip’s wife
-Actually wants Prince Phillip to stop his tyranny
-Spy for the rebellion
What she’s like:
-Kind
-Resourceful
-Patient
-Clever
-Ambitious
5. The Three Good Fairies

6. King Hubert
Description:
Long blond hair, a beard, blue eyes, tan-ish skin, tall, strong and muscular.
About him:
-Father or Prince Phillip
-Thinks what Phillip is doing is wrong
-Stole money to give to the poor and help the rebellion
-Actually ruled another country but then Phillip took over Aurora’s
What he’s like:
-Wise
-Generous
-Brave
-Amiable
-Courteous
7. Queen Leah
Description:
Curly, frizzy hair, beautiful black eyes, plump lips, small nose, average height, basically looks like royalty.
About her:
-Mother of Aurora
-Considered to be the greatest queen England has ever had
-Ran off with Aurora and the fairies and now leads some of the rebellion
Prince Phillip’s horse, who takes a liking to Aurora.
Main Plot:
The setting is in a completely different fantasy England. The rebellion grows in the woods, in underground tunnels accessed by secret doors in the trunks of trees, while Prince Phillip lives in the cold castle at the Heart, which is the main part of the kingdom. It used be a beautiful and warm place but the land thrives on happiness, and it was all taken away when the king, Stefan, was murdered, and Prince Phillip took over in a tyrannical rule.
The rebellion is led by Aurora or Briar Rose, which is the name she will go by later in the story as it was given to her to hide her identity by the Three Good Fairies and her mother.
Maleficent is the sorceress of the Prince and she made her daughter, Princess Hestia, marry him, in order to be in a higher rank. She thinks Hestia is loyal, but in reality, she is a spy for the rebellion as she thinks the ways of Phillip are wrong.
I’d tell you more about King Hubert, but that would give spoilers and he’s a pretty important character in the story.
Time travel isn’t all exciting trips to the past, escaping life or death situations and solving some of the greatest mysteries of mankind.
Sometimes, it’s making the clothes the ones that actually go back in time wear look authentic. Sometimes, it’s making sure they get their shots so they don’t contract the plague and die. Sometimes, it’s maintaining the equipment used and making sure it doesn’t blow up.
Or: a story about time travel, told by those who will not go back.
Next, our MCs!
Alecia Gryffon. An overworked costume designer who is not in the mood to deal with your bullshit.
Catriona Hallow. A doctor who probably takes more amusement in giving people their shots than she should.
Rue Bancroft. An engineer who would gladly let the time machines break down but cant because of morals.
(The camera starts up to focus on a twitchy man who looked a lot older than he actually was.)
“Okay, I’m not a psychologist or a counselor but I’m the closest thing this place is ever gonna get. Start talking,” Mallory spoke up from somewhere out of the camera frame.
He glared at her before sighing. “I feel like when lesbians look at me, they’re thinking: that’s why I’m not a heterosexual.”
“I mean…I’m not a lesbian but I can guarantee that if I was, you would be the reason.”
“Why are you even doing this if all you’re going to do is insult me?”
“I told you. I’m the closest thing to a psychologist or counselor this place is gonna get,” she paused for a moment before adding, “that, and mocking you is one of the highlights of my day.”
