They grabbed a cup from the cupboard and put a teaspoon of coffee in before filling it with water. A simple warming charm was cast until the water started to boil. Aubrey stirred the coffee before adding a spoonful of sugar.
The full moon was the only source of light for him aside from the lamp on his desk. It was times like this that he regretted putting off his paperwork for as long as possible.
He paused in his writing when he felt arms wrap around his shoulders from behind.
“I regret ever deciding to become one of the ‘good guys’,” he muttered to her, laying down his pen with a sigh.
“Hmm,” she tilted her head forward enough to kiss him on the forehead, temporarily blocking his vision with her hair before pulling away. “Imagine if you were ruler of the world,” her voice was slightly teasing.
“I could make other people do it,” he replied, a pout on his face.
“By other people, you mean me.”
“Nah,” he twisted around in his seat to look her in the eye. “That would mean you wouldn’t have enough time to spend with me.”
“That might be a good thing,” she said mock thoughtfully, laughing at the look of indignation that crossed his face.
“You’re mean,” he said in a petulant tone, pouting once again.
“You love me.”
He sighed, smiling at her as he wrapped his arms around her stomach and pulled her close enough for him to bury his face against her stomach. “Yeah, I do.”
Garden – freckles, suntans in weird places, paint and dirt stains on everything, sticky fingers from sap, Pinterest boards filled with houseplants, living in garden centres, talking to animals, finding new recipes with the stuff that actually grew, random bursts of excitement
Kitchen – the smell of home baking, bringing in treats for your friends and family, mum friend 200%, probably has some form of sweets in them at any given time, disapproving glares, piles of cookbooks on every surface, thrives on the approval of others, a lil too nice
Storm – mood swings, staring out the window for hours, the smell when it rains, tangible tension, the feeling you get when you know somethings going to happen, biting your nails, restlessness, long runs, messy paintings to clear the mind, planning ahead
Fire – gets really fixated on things, dark satisfaction, has literally no regard for health and safety, how are you still alive, ‘I wonder what would happen if I set this on fire?’, based on the time I poured nail varnish remover on a candle, boom, hates authority with a passion

I have like one proper God of Death OC, though I just refer to her as Death.
Her name is Thana. She is always noted to be lacking in any sort of colour on her actually body part from white. Her hair is bleached bone white, her eyes are white and her skin like paper-white. She wears almost all black apart from the bandages that cover her arms, legs and upper torso.
Even though she’s Death, she’s also technically Life as well. All souls come from her in the beginning and return to her in the end. The world she lives in, the world she created, is filled with creatures she also created.
Originally, she was a normal girl. Just with a demon in her shadow, an interest in defying the laws of magic and physics, and a tendency to experiment with humans and animals. Ya know, ordinary stuff.
Then shit went down and she ended up becoming Death/Life.
Also destroyed her first world and created a new one.
