Lmao, guess who has another idea for a WIP, despite currently being on a Mallory kick?

alexis-bellissima:

…is it you?

(tell me more!! :P)

Yes, it’s me!

You know how fantasy stories sometimes have a prophesised saviour and it’s treated as a rare thing? Well, it’s like that but the saviour is prophesised once in a generation! Sometimes they aren’t but most of the time they are!

The WIP focuses on an ex-saviour and life after they’ve done their thing whilst a new saviour looks for them because the evil they have to defeat is the one the ex-saviour stopped before them!

It’s got witches, wizards, eldritch horrors and all manner of fun stuff!

Also the main character likes to use archaic words

Temperance: How does your character balance their life? The Devil: Does your character ever neglect their wild side? The Tower: When has your character lost an ideal or relationship? (The Devil has to be for Mallory)

Temperance: How does your character balance their life? (for Azami)

By being on top of everything and making sure no conflicting areas of her life overlap.

The Devil: Does your character ever neglect their wild side? (for Mallory)

Ha, no. She neglects her sensible side though.

The Tower: When has your character lost an ideal or relationship? (for Maeve)

When she refused to marry, at all, and promptly disappeared from her parent’s lives.

Broken promise? On my blog?

writersloth:

It’s more likely than you think. I promised to write three things to celebrate that I reached 600/700/800 followers, but I am a lazy liar and I should be ashamed of myself. I wrote one thing. Now I’ve not only passed 900 followers, but I’m thirteen away from 1000 followers. So thanks to everyone that follows me and sorry for being a mess without any sort of consistency on anything
❤️

So as the most pathetic attempt at celebrating:

Tell me which character/couple/WIP you want to know more about and what you want to know, and I’ll write a short snippet that will answer your questions!

Congratulations, Grandma Sloth!

Character Names

I want to give back to the writeblr community! Unfortunately, I can’t draw, and I can’t make very good moodboards, but what I can do is give you your made-up characters’ names in IPA or I can ask my dad to help me do so.

(In case you’re unfamiliar, IPA stands for International Phonetic Alphabet–this [tɪlədʒi] kind of thing, like the ones I use in my word posts!)

If you’d like me to do this for you, please reblog this post/comment/message me with your character’s name and a description of how it’s said (for example–first syllable like the ‘o’ in box, etc.)

Uh, could you do Mallory?

I dont really know what is specifically meant by “how it’s said” but I do know it’s pronounced “mal-uh-ree”

Sure:

Mallory — /ˡmaləriː/

Nice!
