if you wanna know what kind of person I am…

I literally googled the Animal Welfare Act 2006 because I am spiteful and wanted to make sure that, you know, declawing is actually illegal in the UK unless it’s for medical reasons.

So, like, sorry K but unless that cat had a medical reason for its claws to be cut off, the owner is breaking the law. 

The entire reason this came about was from a conversation in art class about who was a cat person and who was a dog person. I was the only cat person on the table. 

None of them were willing to accept that not all cats are assholes. Granted, they might have been able to accept that not every dog is wonderful, but I dont really give a fuck about that. The only dog I have ever loved is one I have grown up with. I am terrified of large dogs and not too keen on smaller dogs unless I know them.

I am also spiteful.

So, if the conversation ever turns to this subject again, I’m going to simply say that cats as a species ARE unnecessarily demonized by more than a few people. Some breeds of dogs are as well but that isn’t my point.

fgs drabble

Thin rays of light filtered through the cracks in the stone to illuminate the golden sand. There was a heaviness in the air, solemn and ancient. Occasionally, a scarab would scuttle along the wall before disappearing back into its hiding spot.

Two sets of footsteps, slightly muffled by the sand but still loud enough to be heard, sounded on the stone floor. One set was lighter than the other.

Aside from the thin light rays, a lit torch was the only thing illuminating the tomb. Its glow was still enough to show the owners of the footsteps.

One was a tall woman, darkly tanned from a life in the sun and muscled from years spent fighting and exploring tombs such as the one they were in now. Her dark hair was cut shorter in the front than in the back and you could just about see her emerald green eyes. A scar ran diagonally across her neck.

The other one was a black cat. Her fur cut as short as she would allow and around her neck was an enchanted ice crystal to keep cool in the heat. The curious thing about this cat was that she was walking on her back legs with perfect balance.

100 Followers Celebration!!!

In honour of the fact I now have like 101+ followers, I’m gonna be doing something.

Cause this isn’t just gonna be a followers celebration though I do adore you all.
