@strawberryspaceship, this is literally their entire romantic relationship summed up better than I could ever do it…

Despite the fact that it is literally 3D anime and that always looks kind of iffy… Houseki-no-Kuni’s animation is actually pretty good and the only thing that actually looks strange is the running animation but I think that’s more to do with the fact that it is a literal ninja run. Besides, it gets better.

Also, the characters are all pretty and I am gay. Well, bi. But, gay.
