Despite the fact that it is literally 3D anime and that always looks kind of iffy… Houseki-no-Kuni’s animation is actually pretty good and the only thing that actually looks strange is the running animation but I think that’s more to do with the fact that it is a literal ninja run. Besides, it gets better.

Also, the characters are all pretty and I am gay. Well, bi. But, gay.

*stares dumbfounded at the amount of notes she has managed to get on some of her stuff*

Wha…what the hell happened???

One minute I was only getting notes because of someone I know from off Tumblr and porn bots, the next…this!

I dont…I dont think I’ll ever understand…

There are people who like my writing??? The hell???

Sometimes I regret my argumentative nature…usually because it leads to fights and then regret. But I always come back to it…

It lead, for example, to me no longer really feeling close or even friends with someone once…I still feel that way sometimes too…

You know…I really should have realised I was biromantic earlier…I mean, two of my friends are lesbians (they’re dating each other but that isn’t the point) and one of them is really into knowing all the pride flags so it’s not like I was unaware of it being a thing.

Annnd I was aware of my desire to kiss both men and women pretty early on, I was also aware of my desire to not do the sex thing.

Tbh I seriously considering changing Iro’s name…in the universe she was originally made for, she was left at an orphanage as a baby so it’s entirely possible she could have an entirely different name. Iro could just be an alias or a nickname.

Idk exactly why but I think Maeve might have Tokophobia (

fear of pregnancy or childbirth).

There’s several possibilities as to why she could’ve become Tokophobic in universe but the one I think I’m going to go with if I ever write a backstory one shot about her is this.

So like, she’s a faerie and in my head, her type of fae have this thing where it’s custom for young women, usually about 18 but could be younger depending on the family, to help with childbirth. Like, they travel with a selected midwife to a pregnant woman and help with the birth by providing the midwife with what she needs. It’s a way for them to learn about the pains of childbirth and what would be done during it, I guess.

Now, usually they only get a little green around the gills because of the blood and the screaming but they’ve been told about by female relatives in an attempt to help them prepare.

Maeve didn’t have that  as a) her mother was very distant and b) she didn’t have any other female relatives nearby. So she foes with the midwife and sees the woman give birth. She’s disgusted, almost throws up and swears off childbirth forever.

Of course, because she’s a female and this happened years ago in her time line, her family tries to convince her otherwise by trying to orchestrate a marriage between her and some guy. Maeve doesn’t take kindly to that and never returns home from her travels.

And that is my reasoning behind Maeve having Tokophobia. Thank you and good day.

Okay but imagine if someone threatened Dio! Like, I dunno, some exorcist or whatever decides that because he’s a demon and thus EVIL! he needs to disappear. Forever.

Now, that would be all well and good except…he’s bound to Maeve. He can’t die unless she dies. So the exorcism doesn’t work as the exorcist hoped but it does cause him a ton of pain. Pain that Maeve can sense and that she uses to track them down. Needless to say, my faerie babe isn’t happy.

Imagine Maeve walking straight up to the guy or gal and slapping them. Then as she’s freeing Dio, the guy (or gal!) asks why she’s helping a demon.

Maeve: He was foolish enough to try and trap me in a contract. Now, he is mine. Unseelie are notoriously possessive over what is theirs.

Then she kills them. And destroys the evidence.
