Creepy Facts from Aunt Cheshire pt.2

After being reminded by @writersshock, here’s the second part!

  • David Berkowitz is a serial killer known as the Son of Sam and .44 Caliber Killer. The first name comes from a letter he wrote to a police captain, calling himself the “Son of Sam”. He killed 6 and wounded 7 more during the summer of 1977.
  • Many people have been suspected of being Jack the Ripper. Amongst them were Sir William Gull, a prominent society physician and the governor of Guy’s Hospital, and Prince Albert Victor, Queen Victoria’s grandson.
  • Richard Ramirez, also known as the Night Stalker, was a rapist and serial killer active during the 80s. He died in 2013 of complications from B-cell lymphoma.
  • H. H. Holmes, born Herman Webster Mudgett, was a bigamist and serial philander who killed many of the women who fell for him. He killed most of them using his hotel called The Castle.
  • Nicknamed the Angel of Death, Doctor Harold Shipman killed his patients using a lethal dose of morphine. He committed suicide by hanging in 2004.

Lmao, since some people gave feedback on the post about me wanting to post creepy facts and said they wanted to see them (looking at you @silas-fenderson and @writersshock) I’m gonna do it!

I’m pretty sure these are more disturbing than creepy but *shrugs*

  • Dennis Nilsen, a Scottish serial killer and necrophile, incorporated part of the painting called The Raft of the Medusa into his sexual fantasies. The painting by Théodore Gericault depicts an older man holding the nude body of a dead younger male. None of Nilsen’s victims breached the 30 age mark and more than a few of them were teenagers.
  • Fred West, husband and partner in crime to Rosemary West, removed parts of the hands and feet of his first wife, Catherine (“Rena”) Bernadette Costello. He had done the same to her first daughter, Charmaine, a while before.
  • A vast amount of serial killers are also sexually motivated. Along with that, there is a number of homosexual serial killers, examples being John Wayne Gacy (though he claimed that he wasn’t homosexual) and Dean Corll (also known as the Candy Man and the Pied Piper)
  • Albert Fish, an American child rapist, cannibal and serial killer, is arguably one of the most depraved to have existed. He also self-harmed for pleasure.
  • Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka were Canadian serial killers who were also known as the Barbie and Ken Killers. Paul Bernardo was also known as the Scarborough Rapist. Together, they raped and murdered at least three minors, including Homolka’s younger sister.
